SYLLABUS

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to practitioners of all levels, from the humble White Belt to the esteemed 8th Dan. At each stage of your martial arts journey, we focus on enhancing various aspects of your physical and mental prowess, self-awareness, body posture, combative presence, distancing and positioning techniques, and your overall readiness for real-world self-defense situations.

From the very beginning, our program places a strong emphasis on mental fortitude. We believe that the mind plays a crucial role in self-defense and overall martial arts proficiency. Throughout your training, you will be exposed to a diverse array of breathing and meditative exercises. These practices are designed to help you achieve a state of calmness, even in the most stressful of situations. Mental clarity and the ability to maintain composure are key attributes we aim to develop.

Our technical curriculum is structured into distinct levels, ensuring a systematic and progressive learning experience. At each level, practitioners are exposed to a comprehensive range of skills that encompass both foundational and advanced techniques. These include:

1. Meditation and KI Development Skills:  We believe in the power of harnessing your inner energy, and our curriculum includes meditation and KI (or Qi) development techniques to help you tap into this source of strength.

2. Proper Footing and Standing Skills:  A strong foundation is essential in martial arts. You will learn the importance of proper footing and standing techniques to maintain balance and stability during combat.

3. Hard and Soft Blocking Techniques: Effective defense starts with the ability to block and deflect strikes. We teach multiple styles of hard and soft blocking to ensure you can defend against various types of attacks.

4. Basic Striking and Kicking Techniques: Striking and kicking are fundamental offensive skills. You will develop a wide repertoire of these techniques to effectively engage opponents.

5. Falling Skills:  Knowing how to fall safely is a crucial aspect of self-defense. We teach techniques for minimizing injury when taken down or thrown.

6. Unbalancing Skills: Learn how to disrupt your opponent's balance and control the flow of the fight.

7. Ground Grappling Skills: Ground fighting is a critical aspect of self-defense. You will acquire skills for survival and control when the fight goes to the ground.

8. Stand-Up Grappling and Trapping Skills: In certain situations, maintaining control while standing is vital. We cover a range of stand-up grappling and trapping techniques to help you gain the upper hand.

As you progress through our program, you will gain a deep understanding of these techniques and their real-world applications. Our curriculum is rooted in practicality, ensuring that what you learn can be effectively used to protect yourself and others when it matters most.
